The mansion grew into a fortified Renaissance mansion in the 16th century which was later burned down. It was rebuild in the 18th century in a baroque style. The central building is divided into three wings, with double staircase leading to rooms and a chapel. The manor was exchanged by noble owners, until it became the summer residence of the bishops.
The front side of the mansion has a English landscape style.
